Account deletion

1. Delete your account from the app

If you can sign in, this is the fastest way:

1. Sign in to your account on erasly.eu or in the Erasly app.
2. Open Settings (gear icon in the navigation bar).
3. In the Danger zone section, click Delete my account.
4. Confirm by typing DELETE, then validate. Your account and your data are deleted immediately.

Deletion is irreversible: there is no recovery period and no way to reactivate the account.

2. If you can no longer sign in

Send an email to hello@erasly.eu from the address linked to your account, asking for its deletion.

We process every request within 30 days at most, usually much faster. For your security, we verify that the request comes from the account holder before deleting anything.

3. What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently erases all your personal data, including:

• Your profile and personal information (first name, university, destination city, preferences).
• Your photos.
• Your messages and conversations.
• Your likes and matches.
• Your published reviews (deleted or kept in anonymised form, with no data that could identify you).
• Your housing request, if any.

In line with our privacy policy, only residual technical traces (security logs, moderation audit) may remain, kept for limited periods.
